He is known for his many voice roles, including Takashi "Shiro" Shirogane in Voltron: Legendary Defender, Spider-Man in various media in addition to Electro in the video game Marvel's Spider-Man, Jack Darby in Transformers: Prime and the adolescent Hercules in Hercules. He was also the voice of Ryu Hayabusa in the console versions of Ninja Gaiden, and the voice of Revolver Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. He is also the voice of King Anduin Wrynn in the MMORPG World of Warcraft and Tyler in Pokémon Concierge.

Josh’s career in voice acting began early in life, with roles in Peanuts, Peter Pan and the Pirates, and Back to the Future: The Animated Series, but took off with his performance as Young Hercules in Disney’s Hercules.

He’s voiced characters in popular video games including: Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 3, Prince Valerian Mengsk in StarCraft II, and King Anduin Wrynn in World of Warcraft. Josh has also voiced iconic superheroes, most notably: The Flash, Robin, Aquaman, Ant-Man, Iron Man, Spider-Man in Spectacular Spider-Man, and Hal Jordan in Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

He can be heard on DOTA Dragon’s Blood, Dune: Awakening, Arcane, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and as Shiro on the critically acclaimed Voltron Legendary Defender, Narjin in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Magister Rezaren in Dragon Age: Absolution and as Tony Stark/Iron Man in Marvel Rivals. Keaton was the voice for Spyro the Dragon in the Skylanders reboot.

Most recently he stars as Souta in Makoto Shinkai’s blockbuster anime film Suzume and he voiced Peter Parker / Spider-Man (Earth-26496) in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
